On the edge of the small, romantic hamlet of Ronco, amidst its ancient dwellings and a thick chestnut forest, is the Casa delle Ortensie, an old house that was completely renovated in the 1980s and from which there is a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps and the upper lake, with Ascona and Locarno.
On the first floor there is a partially covered wooden terrace leading to a large open-air room with kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace, hallway and shower. From here a wooden staircase leads to a large open space in the attic where there is a double bedroom and a further space with two beds. On the ground floor there are two large rooms (50 m2) for storage/cellar use, with access only from outside.
