The property is located in a small, almost uninhabited court on the sunny side of the Intrasca valley, 966 metres above sea level, with a view of the surrounding woods and the valley, and is arranged on several levels in buildings that are adjacent but not communicating from the inside.
On the ground floor facing the valley is a kitchen with a fireplace, a small bathroom (washbasin and toilet) and a covered canopy with a dining table and outdoor sink. Above the kitchen there is a bedroom and above that an attic with two cots.
Water supply from the court's private aqueduct, electricity with solar panel, fireplace and wood stove for heating.
The Cassinaccia can only be reached on foot either by the easy Segletta - Calpera path (approx. 15 minutes fairly flat and only the last part uphill (5 minutes) or by the private consortium road Segletta-Calpera with parking facilities and a 10 minute walk up a steep slope (approx. 5/7 minutes downhill and 5 minutes uphill).
Just below the car park, a cableway for transporting goods departs and arrives a few metres from the hut.
